Breast Reconstruction, Mastectomy

Surgery to restore the contour and shape of the breast is called breast reconstruction. It is most often done concurrent with a mastectomy but can also occur at a later date/in a second operation.

A mastectomy is the partial or complete surgical removal of breast tissue from one or both breasts to treat breast cancer.
